The Starks

Eddard Stark

Eddard Stark is the head of House Stark. He is often called "Ned" by those close to him. He is the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. His wife is Catelyn Stark and they have 5 children together. Their children are Robb, Sansa, Bran, Arya, and Rickon. Ned also has one bastard son named Jon Snow. Ned is a solomn, but kind man. He highly values honor and justice. He believes in always doing what is right before doing what is easy.

Catelyn Stark

Catelyn Stark was born into the House Tully. Her father was Lord Hoster Tully. She was originally arranged to marry Ned's brother Brandon, but after Brandon's death she was married to Ned instead. Catelyn is a strong woman and a loving mother. However, Catelyn shows a lot of disdain for Ned's bastard, Jon Snow.

Robb Stark

Robb Stark is the Eddard and Catelyn's first son. He is heir to the title of Lord of Winterfell and serves as such while Ned is in King's Landing serving as Robert's Hand. Robb is good friends with his half-brother Jon Snow and Eddard Stark's ward, Theon Greyjoy.

Sansa Stark

Sansa is Eddard and Catelyn's second born child. Sansa has most of her mother's physical traits. She enjoys doing girlish activities and fantasizing about knights, tournaments, and the glamour of life in the King's Court. Sometimes her fantasies cause her to be a bit naive. She doesn't get along very well with her younger sister Arya.

Bran Stark and Jon Snow

Bran Stark is Eddard and Catelyn's third born child. Bran is an adventurous child that loves to climb. He dreams of someday becoming a knight.

Jon Snow is Eddard Stark's bastard. His mother was a lowborn women that Ned met while he was at war during Robert's Rebellion. Jon has been raised almost as if he was a trueborn son and he get's along very well with his half-siblings, but Catelyn does not show him quite as much respect as her own children.

Arya Stark

Arya Stark is Eddard and Catelyn's forth born child. She is a rebellious tomboy who hates doing the activities that girls are supposed to do. This is why Arya often doesn't get along with her older sister, Sansa. She treats everyone with respect and enjoys talking to the common people. Arya is very close to Jon Snow.
